Hi, I’m Karol Makula (he/him/his)! For over 10 years, I’ve been capturing the magic of weddings, turning once-in-a-lifetime moments into timeless memories. Based in Dalkeith, on the outskirts of the beautiful city of Edinburgh, Scotland, I’m surrounded by breathtaking scenery that constantly inspires my work.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m a proud husband, a dad to two wonderful kids - a boy and a girl - and the human to our beloved cat, who was our first “baby.” My family is my world, and we love exploring new places together. Traveling across the globe has deepened my appreciation for the diversity of love stories, a passion I bring into my photography.

It’s a great opportunity to get to know each other, discuss the shots you love, and plan how to make the most of your venue - working with the light and scenery to create stunning photos.
