I truly love what I do and feel incredibly lucky to photograph couples on one of the most important days of their lives. My focus is on documenting candid, natural moments so you can fully enjoy your wedding day while I quietly capture the details, the atmosphere and the people who matter most. I pay close attention to the heart of your relationship, those small moments where your connection comes through, a quick glance, a soft smile or a quiet moment you share when no one else is watching. When the weather cooperates and flight conditions allow, I use drone photography to capture the venue, surroundings and genuine moments from above. I am a bit of a geek at heart and genuinely love flying my drone whenever it is safe and appropriate to do so. We knew very early in our engagement that we wanted Karol as our wedding photographer due to recommendations from friends. We were not disappointed! Karol was our photographer for our wedding at Dundas Castle in April 2025 and also did an engagement shoot with us in November 2024. From the start, communication was second to none and Karol explained everything so well. We felt very reassured and kept up to date throughout. We had the best time heading out around Edinburgh for our engagement shoot, his style is very relaxed and, as people who hate getting our picture taken, we felt completely at ease.
On the wedding day, Karol was not only very prompt, as was his second photographer, organised and prepared, but he was also a great support with all those little things on the day. Everyone commented on how seamlessly he blended into the background, and we are so surprised by all the little, unnoticed moments he captured. Everyone felt very comfortable and loved how the family portraits were done so quickly and efficiently, meaning we could enjoy ourselves. The candid photos are by far our favourites, and I love that those little moments are documented forever.
The photos are incredible, and there are more than I could ever have imagined! We love the colours and the contrast, and how everything looks like a fairytale wedding, exactly what we wanted. We can’t wait to order our wedding album and will recommend Karol to all our friends.

We had no hesitation, within the first meeting that we knew we found who we wanted to be at our special day. Karol made us feel at ease through the whole process and we had a wonderful time during our pre-wedding photo shoot. Karol continued to make regular contact when required and answered the many questions we had. Karol arrived at the venue relaxed and had everything under control. We both felt at such ease knowing our day was being captured. Karol's structure to the photos suited our day perfectly where we never were away from our guests for too long. We were delighted that Karol was available to photograph our wedding having seen his amazing work from previous weddings. He made sure that we spoke with him to gain and understanding of what to expect on the day and timings etc. He asked us if there was anything in particular that we wanted such as family photographs and certain locations at the venue so that he could plan and tailor on the day. He took his time to make sure he captured our day to our specifications. On our wedding day, he made us feel so relaxed and comfortable, we forgot we were even being photographed! He captured the finer, subtle details such as jewellery and perfumes whilst we were getting ready and they images were curated beautifully.
Karol’s professionalism and attention to detail was outstanding. He made sure he got round all the guests and now looking back at the photographs he really did capture the full day and all the special memories. During the reception and in the evening we were only away from our guests for a few minutes at a time to get our couple photos and ensured we enjoyed every moment. A couple of days after our wedding Karol sent us a sneak preview of about 25 edited photographs from the day whilst we waited for the rest to be edited. We have now received the full album and are beyond delighted with the results. The photographs are candid and truly captured the special moments through out the day. We could not of asked for anything better and these are the memories we will now cherish. Thank you so much again Karol and I could not recommend you enough!

From the moment we met Karol we instantly knew we had found the photographer for us. He made us both feel at ease from the first meeting so it was very easy to relax with him. He was very professional yet at the same time was not over the top. We were very happy with the photos of our big day and think you only need to look at his website to see that he captures some gorgeous shots. He got all of the big snaps that we needed, several beautiful portraits and family groups, but also captured several genuinely touching moments that we had remarked on during the day and were then surprised to see had actually been captured for posterity. A friend holding hands, a whisper at the right moment, a reassuring hug. Not big set pieces, but candid moments that capture are, I think, the mark of a really good photographer. Finally it is all packaged up beautifully in a keepsake usb stick, with excellent post production values. We were thrilled with the photo package we received and think it represented fantastic value.

When we decided to get married we knew we wanted a small and intimate wedding but didn’t want to compromise on our wedding photos.
